Devcich, Smith sizzle in Toronto's campaign opener

Have you played book cricket? If you have, you can relate it to this match. 31 sixes hit in the two innings as more than 75% runs came in boundaries. Vancouver Knights might have thought they've got enough at the halfway stage but it wasn't to be. If Lewis and Russell did it in the first innings, Smith and Devcich repeated the script during the chase.
With an unbeaten knock of 92* Devcich sealed the fate in the penultimate over itself. It was the skipper who finished things off in style as Toronto Nationals chased down 227 in what looked like an effortless chase. If this is what this tournament is going to be about, be ready for some more fireworks. The bowlers from both oppositions barring a couple of them would like to forget this game like a nightmare.
