Australia has been struggling to make a mark in the international cricket ever since the ill-fated tour of South Africa. Their gun players Steve Smith and David Warner were banned for their involvement in the infamous ball-tampering scandal and the team will be without them until March next year. However, all the three pacers Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins have not played since then due to injuries and they are now set to make a comeback.
They have been given a deadline to prove their fitness for the tour of the United Arab Emirates later this year where they will face Pakistan. The trio is confident of resuming their bowling by the end of this month as Cummins and Hazlewood recover from back injuries while Starc recovers from his leg problem.
